Surgery Cancelled

I was supposed to be in surgery at this very moment, but due to hurricane Ike it was cancelled.  We were hit pretty hard, but everyone I know is safe.  I am at work so I am able to update.  I have no power at home and I do not expect to have it for a couple of weeks.  There are many power lines down with large trees hanging on them all throughout my neighborhood.  We have a lot of work to do, but we are ok and that is all I am concerned with at this point.  For all those that were affected by Ike, I am praying for you! I'm sorry to hear your surgery was cancelled, but happy to hear that you & yours are safe.  Hopefully time will pass quickly and you will get rescheduled before you know it.

I'm so sorry your surgery was cancelled.  I can only imagine how you feel.  The pictures on the news look terrible for your area.  I'm glad you're safe and will pray things get back to normal as soon as possible for all those affected.
