Any future bandsters for 9-18?

Is there anyone out there out there with the same surgery date (or close to it) who want to be band buddies?

Also, is anyone else having trouble with the pre-op diet?  I am really struggling... 

I am having RNY on 9/18 .they just moved it up from 9/29...................My Nutrionist  only really restricted me from things with too much fiber before surgery they are not really making me do a liquid diet

I'm being banded on 9/17, and I'm not particularly enjoying the pre op diet.  I think my liver won't be in the way because my stomach already ate it.  Good luck with your surgery.  My surgeon generally sends people home the same day...so I should be able to check in by Thursday.

Hang in there with the preop diet.  It's important because you don't want to have to put off your surgery.  How long did you have to do it?

I am having WLS on the 18th too!  It was just confirmed today!  Yippee!!!

I do not have a pre-op diet but even worse is the 2 bottles of magnesium sulfate you have to drin****il pure water is coming out of your bum!  I did it on the 3rd and then got RS, I was so sick from the stuff they thought I had the Flu and RS the surgery!

But now it is on and I am ready!

I just got home yesterday afternoon.  Not too much pain.  If I take the Percocet (which I have never had a problem with before) I get nauseated.  So, I'm just going to stick with Tylenol! 

I'm definitely having some buyer's remorse just in that I'm wondering how I'll do with the band.  It just feels kind of weird...
