I got a date! Sept 23rd!

This has been the longest road but I am almost there! 
I got a date!  Finally!  I am so excited for my new life. 

Good for you... we're in this together.  I am scheduled for lap band surgery on the 15th!

That is wonderful!  I am sure I will have so many questions after my surgery.  Are you nervous?  I am not at all yet.

You know, I'm really not nervous.  It may be because I've been through breast cancer and several biopsies so surgery isn't anything new to me.  But I'm so ready to get it over!  I just love University Hospital and Dr. De la Torre.  Where are you having surgery?

Sorry, I forgot to answer your question.  I am having my surgery done in Eau Claire, WI. 

We share the same surgery date...I'm having my VSG on the 23rd also!!

That is wonderful news!  I am so happy for you. So many people are trying to talk me out of this but there is no way I am backing out.  They have not walked a mile in my shoes.  This is it for me.

Congratulations!!!  I'm as excited as you because that's my date too!!!   
Make some room on the losers bench, here we come!
