I am back Home!!!!
I got back yesterday and I am feeling fantastic. I haven't been on any pain meds since the night of surgery. I do have a little gas pain in the chest area however the more I walk around or just stand up and rock back and forth the pain goes away and I start burping a lot. I think I burped more in two days than I did the whole year. To me the sound of me burping was music to my ears. It is so wear how you feel your liquids go to your stomach and the feeling of being full after 1 oz. I can only drink 1 oz every 15 minutes. My stomma is a little tight so it is takes a little while for clear liquids to go down. Instead of 2 days on clear I will be on clear for a week. That is ok with me because I am totally stuff on my clear protein drinks.

Good luck Perry!! Make sure you walk a lot and if you just come back from the walk a good thing is just to stand by your bed and rock back and forth. I was burping a lot and the chest pain goes away. When I laid down I felt so bloated.

Welcome home! You sound like you are doing great! My surgery is Monday. I'm having my gallbladder out too and I was wondering if you did, as well. I'm happy to hear you aren't in pain. Burping isn't easy for me...maybe surgery will change that. Mahalo for the tip on rocking. See you on the other side!!!
