What are you packing?

Well my big day is only a week away. Anyone packing anything special? What are you taking to hospital with you? I am getting the gitters from all the excitment! I can't wait for my turn to be here!

Nothing special here, just practical stuff.
lotion, hairbrush, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, chap stick, ipod, a book (you never know), clean underwear to wear home , insurance card, and my Hubby... that way if I forgot anything he can run out and get for me

Six days to go until surgery!

 I am all packed for my RNY tomorrow.  I packed undies, socks/slippers, an outfit for goin home, feminine care products (you never know), toothpaste, toothbrush, conditioner, hairbrush, a few ponytails, deoderant, lotion, cell phone charger, portable dvd player w. a few dvds (I'm in for 3 days why not), and a pair of pj pants

I'm going in Monday and will finish putting together my list this weekend. On another thread someone mentioned chap stick and Gas-X, so I'll be sure to add them.

I hear taking your own pillow with you helps two ways - you sleep more comfortably and you can hold it over your tummy on the drive home (so the seat belt won't irritate your incisions). Just a thought!  ~Sandi ~
