I'm home!!!!

Wow so impressed, had surgery Mon the 8th at 11 am and was on my way home by noon on
Tue the 9th...... Love my doctors......

What kind of surgery did you have?  I had gastric bypass on 8-28.  I'm feeling great 2 weeks out.  I was very sore in the beginning, but it gets better every day.  I've lost 11 lbs since surgery and a total of 37.

I had "RNY" and it was 10 times less pain then I thought it would be.... I was walking laps within 4 hours and home within 26...... Feel great and done with pain meds as of this morning...... Haven't got on scale yet just going to wait until post-op appt Wed....... Have a blessed day!

Dang, I'm impressed, too, Jeni!  I've been told to expect to be in the hospital for two nights, but I'm hoping I do as well as you and can leave early too!!

 WALK and then WALK some more, helps with pain and gas.......

I had gastric bypass onf 8/18 and I'm still a little sore but everyday gets better.  The secret is to move, move.  Hope things continue to go smoothly.

Wow, you must have done great!  I had my surgery on Monday (9am) as well and they wouldnt let me out of bed until Tuesday morning.  It was so nice to get up and walk around.  Those first few days in the hospital were rough for me.  I got to go home Wed around 3 pm.  I'm still in some pain, mostly stomach muscle pain, and that left side where the drain was is killing me!  But I know it will all be worth while!  Good luck on your recovery and here's to a good weekend!

Yes my Doctors said it was text book..... I thank God for that! I hope you are now feeling better...... and I also hope you have a wonderful weekend!
