packing for our rebirth

whats everyone packing?

Comfy loose clothes, slippers, hygiene stuff, chapstick, a body pillow/pillow for the trip home,music for while I'm walking and the things I need to eat ( sf jello, protien shakes, etc)
Good Luck with your packing oh yes and any medications and vitamins you may need. Gas X  as well

You are taking your own food? Are you sure you have to? At our hospital all of the special food is supplied.....I would have thought that would have been the case anywhere. I'll be in the hospital for 2-3 days and during that time I'll just be on clear liquids, broth, popsicles.....it won't be until I get home that I'll be on protein shakes.

I am released after one day but have to spend the weekend in Utica and see the surgeon on Monday , so I will need to have food supplies.

How did the pre-op visit go? All set and ready to go now? Are you excited?
I sure am! I find it pretty surreal and unbelievable that this is actually happening. I dream a bit about how much weight will be gone in 1 month, 2 months ect. I'm afraid to dream too much though in case it doesn't work as well on me as others.

lisa , youll do just fine . my daughter weighed over 400lbs and had it done ,will be 2 yrs nov 24,and has lost 260 lbs shes down to 150 looks great.feels great.
