Buy the Carnation Instant Breakfast NO SUGAR ADDED and get a chocolate flavored whey protein poweder. We use Champions and also no flavored AnyWhey brand. Take one envelope of No Sugar Added Choc Inst Breakfast and one scoop of protein powder. Mix with cold low fat milk and enjoy. Tastes exactly like a melted Wendy's frosty with no after taste and 23 grams of protein. I also like to take the plain AnyWhey unflavored protein powder and mix one scoop with lemon Crystal Light.

Good luck on your surgery! I will be praying that everything does go well. I had mine two weeks ago. I will tell you that there will be some pain but nothing you can't manage. The BEST thing is to get up as soon as you can after surgery and walk walk walk. At first it will be hard but you can do it. I had trouble standing upright for a while but the more I did, the easier it got. This second week is so much better and soon you'll be here too. Just picture what you want to look like and why you had this surgery and keep that as a focul point in your mind.

As far as your protient drink If you can drink low fat milk but the 100% whey protien powder in vinilla flavor to has a good taste, i bought a 6lb bag for $25.00 at sams. be encouraged, im having surgery nexy on tuesday sept 25 2007

I hadn't been nervous at all up until about a couple hours ago. I'm having Lapband on the 26th, so I'm a tad bit nervous. I'm from Indy, and I'm the first surgery of that day at St. Francis. Surgery is at 8a.m. Please all reading keep me in your prayers!

Check with either your prescribing doc or your surgeon. Usually after surgery, they will start you back on your medicines after the risk of bleeding is past.

Best wishes, James! I'm sure it will go well. I'm one week out from my surgery. Very honestly, the incisions have never bothered me. Maybe some tugging here and there as they begin to heal, but that part has been okay. I'm going through insomnia now. I don't sleep very well and when I do it's for short periods of time. Hopefully, you won't have that, but please just relax and be thankful your day has come!
