Topic: RE: scale is stuck.....
I just posted the very same thing so ironic. I was banded on 9/12/2007 and I have lost 28 pounds and the scale is stuck at 206. I have been have a rough time getting in the protien and water BUT I am giving it my all. I was thinking of going back to the liquids for a while BUT after reading the reply's I decided to push for my protien, water and going to the GYM !!! My clothes are so loose it's ridiculos I should be jumping for joy. You'll be fine don't worry.

Topic: The scale won't move !!!
I was banded on 9/12/2007 and I am elated to have lost 28 pounds BUT the scale is stuck at 206 !!! What can I do to make it move. I am not scheduled for my first fill until 10/25/2007. I've only managed to get to the gym once last week BUT I am back on my grind this week. I am off at 7 PM to go home and get on my elliptical. Any advice???

Honestly I wish I had clothes I would miss but at my large size I never really became attached to any of them. I am really looking forward to getting some new ones soon! I told myself at 50lbs lost I could got get a couple of things. I'm at 43 lbs lost so far

Our board seems to have slowed down so I thought it was time to post another question! We all have comfy clothes that make us feel better, what one piece are you going to miss the most? Mine is a Mickey Mouse sweatshirt I have had about 17 years, all the fleece is gone from the inside, there are holes in it...man am I going to miss that shirt. It is already in the bag of clothes that don't fit anymore, hubby promised me a new one when I find one I really like. Holly

Topic: RE: September one month check in and a question!
I was a Diet Coke addict and nothing, I mean nothing tastes that good anymore but I am coping. I haven't had a DC since 8/31/07. I really miss it. I have found that the 4 cups milk, 1 cup powdered milk (Carnation) and Nestle's Sugar Free Chocolate is about the only protein drink that I can handle. I am also bored but I know it will be soooooooo worth it. Don't get frustrated yet. Remember it took us all our lives to gain the weight, it will not go away in just one month. I am thrilled with the weight loss so far. I just keep thinking about all the before and after pictures and can hardly wait to post mine. Keep up the good work. I did not have a positive experience with my dinner last night. It was the first time i threw up since surgery. Yuck. But it tasted great the first time Keep up the good work. We all have bumps in the road but it makes for a more interesting life.

Peaking on our board. I feel so violated. LOL Actuallly, I peek on the month prior to mine and the one after (which is yours). I think it helps to see what is coming (month prior) and I look at yours to see if I can ever offer any advice. Feel free to crash our board any time. The Weekly weight posting is our most popular. I really does help people realize they are not alone or "strange" that there are others losing the same amount. Good luck everyone!

Topic: Looking for October Surgery pals!
My name is Jennie and I am one week post op. I must say I am feeling alot better. I am very tired most of the time, and feel very weak. As of today I have lost 13.5 pounds. I am very happy about that. I just am having a hard time with drinking all the water, and I am tired of soups. Other than that all is well! I havent had to vomit or foamies or anything. The one thing that is worring me is not having a bowel movement. I had one 3 days ago! anyone with this problem?
