I had the same kinda thing happen, and actually gained 13lbs about 2.5 weeks out, it ended up just being fluid retention, that came off the next week. In talking to my surgeon he said it's normal to have fluctuations, especially in the first month post-op while our bodies are in shock from surgery and all the changes we've made. He said to expect about 10lbs a month. Some months will be more and some a lot less. Just keep following the plan and move and it WILL come off! Great post!! I was getting all upset at my loss, but then someone on the RNY board said that if I compare I am losing the same-approx 10% of original weight. So thanks for this it confirms what I was told and makes me feel ALOT BETTER!!!! Surgery Date: 9/10/07 Weight at beg of Pre-Op Diet (I Only Had 1 week) 256 Night before surgery 252 Today 227 Dr's Goal- 138 My personal Goal 150 I have ALWAYS been Big Boobed (even when I weighed 120) and I am big boned, I think I will look emaciated at 138 (I did at 120, but I was a teenager). Great idea topic Holly! I have a really cute pair of capris I love. They made me happy when I wore them. They are already too big! I just wish I could find them in smaller sizes! Shelley

My silver sparkly disco ball dress. It is the very best dress ever. Fortunately, the last time I wore it got to be when I was on stage with an assortment of really amazing musicians in front of the best crowd in the world. A fabulous send-off for a fabulous dress. Zandra Q

I am a frequent sipper (approx. 3 sips per minutes) then I stop and give it a rest. and start again. I don't know if this is right but I have not gotten sick from it.
