Topic: RE: The best 365 days of my life.
I just celebrated MY one year yesterday. Loss 64 lbs. I went to my neices wedding and it felt great to be able to dance and walk around the grounds. A year ago I would have to take a nap half way through. It is great to be able to do things and take a lot less Meds. I am having knee surgery next week after that I will be able to jog. Good luck to everyone on your journey.

Thanks for the kind words. I've lost more since this post I'm now at 196 and still losing. I feel wonderful so even if I don't make goal by Thursday I will make goal just after, so for me that's ok. Thanks again for your kind words.

Topic: The best 365 days of my life.
This past year has been the best. I am so much healthier than I was 1 year ago. I no longer take all of those damn pills and go see a doctor for one thing or the other every damn month. I do things, that I wouldn't have dreamed of doing for the past 20 years. I feel young and alive again. 165lbs lost, 29 to go.

Wow! Wow! Wow! You have done great -- conggratulations to you for working your tool like that. I would not worry about being 8 pounds from goal and not making it by next Thursday. Look at what you have accomplished. That is just super-duper!!!!

This past year has been an unbelievable journey. Sometimes I look back and can't believe that I actually had the surgery! It has gone extremely fast and I have had many complications. That being said, I would do it again in a minute! This surgery has been the best thing I ever did for myself!
I have recently reached my goal and am working on maintaining it right now. In this past year I have lost 138pounds, can fit comfortably in an airplane and movie theater seat, can get up off the floor without assistance, can shop in a regular sized store, can walk without get winded, am not hot and sweaty all the time (actually, I am always cold!), and can actually share clothing with my 13 year old daughter! Life is good and I feel great!
Congratulation to everyone on their one year surgiversary!! Keep up the great work and keep on posting! You have all been such a great source of support and inspiration for me.
Hugs to all,
Lisa
