Topic: RE: new month!! question for you all
I am trying to remember to check in for this monthly, at least.
Highest: 321
Start of pre-op liquid diet: 317
Day of surgery: 298
Today (2 months exactly): 266.5
So, overall total loss is 54.5
Loss since surgery is 31.5
I'm not sure how I'm going to handle the holidays this year, as I'm not generally the one that does the cooking for these. Maybe I'll try to make one of those protein pumpkin pies.

Thank GAWD I'm not alone! I can eat regular foods (I also had to start eating slow..depending on what it is. It can take me about 45 minutes 2 eat!) I just can't eat in abundance. Now, I do have a problem with sugar, so I avoid it at all cost. I use a sugar substitue or nothing at all. But thank u sooooooo much for your input, I needed to hear dat I am not abnormal as far as eating goes!

Hey, I dont post to the weekly, but I have been every month.

I can really eat just about anything I want. I try to avoid eating too much bread, so I pick most of it off of my sandwiches. I also try to avoid sugar, but when I have had it, I didn't have a problem. I have eaten some red velvet cake with a very small amount of icing on it, and I have had a piece of a giant chocolate chip cookie with icing on it. I try to get protein in first when I eat, but I tend to gravitate towards carbs. I did get kind of nauseous when I ate some italian beef, but I had eaten really fast. I do have a problem eating too fast. I don't know what it will take for me to be able to eat as slowly as I need to. Does anyone have a suggestion for eating slowly?

Hi everyone,
This is my first post on this forum.
Pre - 285
Last week - 227
today - 223.5
I can't beleive how quickly the weight is coming off. I keep expecting to slow down anytime now. Just starting to introduce some solids to the diet. I've had a few "sick" episodes. I have to walk around while I eat otherwise the food feels like it's stuck.

Topic: HELLO ALL OF MY SEPT. LOOSERS!!
Hi all! This is my first time posting on this forum, so HI! Now, on to business I had surgery september 10th. I don't know how much I've lost because I refuse to buy a scale. I know myself and I KNOW ill freak at every pound NOT lost. So until my 3 months visit, I won't know..but anyway my question is, what are u guys able to honestly eat, now? I can eat anything that I want(well truthfully, I haven't ventured out much food wise). But I'm just curious as to what u all can eat? Does it seem like before, just n smaller portions? Or are u really restricted now?
I'm curious, fill me in!
Topic: RE: Carbs - How Many Per Day?
I haven't found out anything yet. But like you, I'm afraid I've messed up some how. Sometimes I feel like I could keep on eating. Yet I do stop and I am satisfied. I do know that I'm having a hard time getting in all of my water. I've also been down on protein. What is wrong with me?!
Topic: RE: Carbs - How Many Per Day?
I think we are all in the same boat, I think I messed mine up to!
Topic: RE: Stuck for 13 days!!!!
Thank goodness I am not going insane. I didn't mention it because I thought it was just me and that I was doing something wrong. Was it that dab of gravy on my mashed potatoes or what? I have stayed the same for almost 9 days. I am happy you are all in the same boat. I wish we were all losing but at least we know we are normal.
Don't ya wonder how we can eat so little and still not lose weight?

Topic: RE: Soda & straws....:help:
I find that now I can take much larger drinks of water than at the beginning can everyone else do this now. My doctor said no to the straw in the beginning but ok now.
