Hi September 07 surgery folks,

I'm inviting you to a little group to help those (yes, including myself) who have gained 10 or more pounds beyond that lowest weight. We are calling it the "Drop 10 for 10 Challenge". You can easily join this group by going to www.obesityhelp.com/group/Drop10410. I'm hoping that with your help we can generate a little excitement and enthusiasm for getting back on track. We will have a monthly weighin, but it will only be pounds off since the start of the new 2010 decade. Your participation is only what you want to make it. I'm pumped up and ready to get back on track for 2010.

There are no hard and fast rules for joining, but you really should be at least 10 pounds above your lowest post-surgery weight and interested in getting things back in line.

Let's get this new decade off to a great start.

Melissa, I feel like this quite often, mainly because I have alot of hanging skin left.  I've lost 175lbs and think I look ok in clothes, but not without them.  I'm hoping to have a tummy tuck and arm lift soon, so maybe then I will feel better about the whole thing.
Good luck to you and I hope you mind catches up with your weight loss soon!

So I am 2 years out as of 9/4 and have lost a little over 150 lbs and have maintained my weight loss.  I have lost a lot of weight, I feel great, doing more than I ever have enjoying life more than I ever have, but I still feel like I need to loose weight, and agonizing a bit latley feeling like I am still (chunky)  My surgeon and family doctor say that i do not need to worry about loosing any more weight but I can't help but feel like I am going crazy !

Any one else feeling like this??

Hi everyone and HAPPY SURGIVERSARY!!! I can't believe it's been 2 years since we all started this journey.  It's great to see how well everyone is doing, so I hope more people will respond to this post.

I am currently maintaining a weight loss of 140 pounds! I feel absolutely fabulous! Thanks to my Oprah Magazine makeover (Check it out here: http://www.oprah.com/slideshow/omagazine/200909-omag-fashion-makeover) I have more clothes in my closet then I ever have in my entire life! I am so happy that I had WLS and only regret that I didn't do it sooner.

Can't wait to read about some more accomplishments. Hope everyone is doing well.
Hugs,
Lisa

Hi Katrina,  I was wondering how everyone was doing, too.  You've done great, you can be proud!
I've lost 175 lbs and have started the plastic surgery consults lately.  Planning to have a tummy tuck and arm lift if I can find the right doctor at the right price.  That's not as easy as I thought it would be.  I eat every few hours, too, and do better some days than others.  But I keep trying!
                   Good luck to you,

Hi, just saw your post - better late than never I guess!  Anyway, my name is Kathy.  I had RNY on 9/17/07 and have now lost 140 pounds.  Hit my goal on election day 2008.  Now I'm below goal.  On 3/23/09, I had my arms done and a lower body lift.  Doc took off an additional 6 pounds of skin.  Now I'm looking to have the girls done -  maybe end of summer or early fall.  I have had no problems from either of the surgeries.  I feel great and love my new body.  I went from 22/24 to a size 4.  Some 4s are even too big!  Best news yet is that all my comorbidities are gone - high blood pressure, cholesterol, prediabetes, back, knee & foot pain - you name it!  I exercise about 5x/week at a minimum, write down my food in Fitday and attend 3 different local support groups, plus lurk on the boards on this site.  Life is great I tell you!

Hi there, I just found this place.

I am maintaining a 112 lb loss.  Feeling better than ever.

Have not started looking into plastics yet, but I sure would like to get my belly done and the girls are totally deflated.

Take care.
