Topic: Sept 12th date.
All is cleared and approved for a surgery date of Sept 12th at Duke in NC. I am a little nervous, but very happy I have a date.

Hey Lisa, I am new to this posting business, but could not help but respond to your post. I know what you mean about ready to get it done. But our time will fly so fast.
I too am scheduled for Sept. 19. and very excited. I had to be put off because I am having a revision and they only do 1 a day and that takes longer. Congrats and I too am a nurse. I will pray that everything goes well for you.

Topic: Sept. 19th is my date!!!
This is my first time to post and I am looking forward to all the support. I had the Lapband in Jan 07, and everytime I got a fill I would get chest pain. So I opted to do the revision. I am scheduled for next month on Sept. 19th and very thrilled about it.
Pray that I find peace in the midst.

Hello everyone! My name is Lisa and I am an RN from Long Island, NY. I just got home from my second surgical consultation and had my surgery scheduled for September 11!!! 
I am so excited, but a little dissappointed that it couldn't be sooner!
Congratulations to all of you on your upcoming surgeries. I can't wait till we can all sit on the loser's bench together!!!
