All I need is my cardio clearance and I'm ready to go! Scared to death to do it and scared not to! Wish me a well rested doctor and staff for that Wednesday morning.

Hello everyone,
My name is Heather and I have finally got my surgery date for September 24, 2007. I have to start my optifast on September 10 and go for my pre-op on September 12.
I saw my Doctor for the first time in 2005. I was referred in 2004. So it has been along time coming I feel. I just wish I had the support from online groups along time ago. But I didn't really know well I guess I didn't really look for it. But I am here now and so glad that these groups are available. I am looking forward to chatting with alot of you and going through our journeys together.

I am scheduled for September 10 in Renton, Wa. Will start my shrink the liver diet on Sunday. Do you all have to give yourselves Heparin shots when you get home?
Took my husband with me yesterday to my pre op appointment, and I think the gory details scared him more than they scared me.
