I'm scheduled for September 11th. I started the liquid diet today... oh yeah... Luckily I already have all my vitamins at home so I don't need to go shopping! I just got scheduled yesterday... I have my pre-op physical on 9/5, my nutrition class on 9/6, my type & cross match (blood match) on 9/7, another apt w/ the surgeon on 9/10 then BAM! Surgery 9/11 ... crazy couple of weeks! I wish you well on your surgery! I'm having the RNY as well!

I'm on September 10 too. Have to be at the hospital at 6AM. It is hard to keep my mind on the rest of my life right now.

I'm not weighing myself, but judging from the number of times I get up at night, I'm sure I have. This is a lot harder than quitting smoking!

I am on Sept 11th also!!!! I have to do 2 weeks of the liquid diet, which I am not enjoying!

Yes, Jackie: I finally quit using my treadmill for extra storage. I'm on it 5 days a week and I'm watching my food. Lost 8 so far. RNY is scheduled 9-25 and I can hardly wait! Keep in touch!

Would love to hear from (and keep in touch with) anyone who is going through RNY on or around the same date as me. I'll be in Cleveland for the procedure so, "neighbors " are encouraged to stop in and support and I will certainly reciprocate :angel:
What an overwhelming experience it has been so far...and it can only get better (after the initial owies anyway) :-@
