I am down 120 pounds. I am now into size 10 pants/jeans. I am still a large on top which boggles my mind as I never had boobs even when I was big. I just have a wide rib cage. Yuck. I have really slowed in the weight loss department. The days of daily losses are over. The scale just seems to move one week a month now. Oh well I will take it! I can't believe it has been 10 months (almost 11)!

Can you believe we are almost a year out!!??!! I hear you on the not loosing as we did before. I hoped on the scale yesterday and I was 193...which mean 5lbs in the last month.... but I'll take that because thank God I haven't gained anything! As a matter of fact...if I keep at this pace (although I strive for more) I'll be just 8lbs under my goal by the time this year anniversary roles around! But enough about me, you're doing great!

Hi everyone! I am down 133 pounds and currently weight 152, only 2 pounds from goal!!! I originally was a 24/26 but now wear a size 10 pants and a size medium top. My bra size has gone from a 46DD to a 36D, still hanging on (and I use the term "hanging" literally!!) to a D!! I feel wonderful!! Now for the bad: On June 3, I had an exploratory laparoscopy to repair 2 internal hernias and remove some adhesions! That was not fun, but the episodes of pain I had from the hernias was worse! Also, I am having a slight problem with my pre-albumin level. (The prealbumin test is used to help your doctor diagnose problems with your nutrition. Prealbumin most often is used to help doctors diagnose protein-calorie malnutrition.) I eat 90% protein, so cannot figure out the problem. The doctor has encouraged me to have one protein shake (here we go again!!) a day for the next month and then will repeat the bloodwork. He is hoping that I will absorb more protein if it is in a liquid form. That being said, I would have this surgery again in a New York second!! It is the best thing I have ever done! I haven't felt so great in a very long time! Hugs to all, Lisa

Hey Lisa...you are doing very well. And although painful...I know that your surgery was well worth it! Keep up the fantastic work!

I can't belive how fast this year has gone . I happy about the wight I have lost but I am frustraded with the stall I have had the last couple of months at my 9month cheek up I had lost 108 pounds and I am under the 200 pound mark. I am eating more wich sacres me I am so afraid of gaing weight. I was doing kickboxing 3+ times a week but I can no longer afford it. so i am struglling with my workout big time I went though a mager depression and got on some meds. but I am still strugling the scale has not moved at all since my last appoinment. Don't get me wrong i know that I would not beable to do what I can do know if it wasn't for the surgery and I am able to do a lot more then I could ever do be fore I am just afraid of failing. Day of sugery 308 todays weight 198 total los 110 Nicki

Failure is NOT an option for the September babies, honey ;). We ALL will stall at some point during the honeymoon phase..it happens..our bodies need the time to adjust to the rapid change in weight. Its dramatic....give yourself time...and you will start to move again.
