New pics!
Rachel, you are a beautiful person! I suggest that you go to Macy's or someplace like that and ask them for a makeover. It's free. Of course, they're going to want to sell you their products, but you don't have to buy what you don't want or like.
By the way, I had my surgery at Tufts too (Dr. Julie Kim).
It's 60 miles, which should be an hour, but depending on traffic, it can take a lot longer. One day, I had an appt. at 9 a.m. I left my house at 6:45, which should have gotten me there by 7:45. I didn't get there until 9:30 that day! Usually, it's not that bad. I've learned not to schedule anything where I'm driving during the morning or afternoon commutes.
BTW, I love Dr. Kim. She is very down-to-earth and answered all of my questions. My surgery went off without a hitch. The only issue I have with Tufts is that it's hard to get in to see the surgeons. I just had my "3 month check-up" last week, which is actually 6 months post-op. I think part of the problem was that Ami (the PA) left the practice in December, and it screwed up all their appointments. I wasn't very upset about it because I wasn't having any problems anyway.
Who is your nut? Mine is Gloria. I like her a lot too. In fact, I really like everyone I've encountered at Tufts. Louise is super too!
omg, that must have felt like the longest drive ever! I've spent almost two hours on the Pike when it usually takes about 25 minutes.
Yeah, Dr. Shikora's only there on Thursdays, eurgh. I'm so sad Ami left, I loved her.
I also have Gloria! I like her a lot. I love Louise, she is a DOLL. I like most everyone there, actually.
