Definitely losing my hair now
I don't know what it is, but it seems like just the last week or so it's coming out in handfuls. Every shower, every time I bru**** just keeps falling out.
I don't know why it started so suddenly. Also, I don't have the type of weight loss I would expect for this at only 52 lbs since surgery date.
I know all I can do is eat my protein and take my vitamins, but this is ridiculous.
As of this morning in the shower I officially have started to loose hair by the hand fulls.. Before today it was just a little more than normal, but this morning was alot.. I have super thick hair anyway, but I don't want to end up with any bald spots.. If it happens though I know it will grow back and at least I will be healthy and that is the ultimate goal..
I started losing quite a bit of hair (or so I thought) in about early-mid November. Then f-fwd to about 2 weeks ago. Oh my word! I bru**** real good before my shower - getting a very full brush-full of it. Then I take a shower and it comes out by the fistful. And when I take the towel down, my hair is in 2 big mattes. When I'm brushing it out, I feel like I'm losing 2/3 of my hair. And my hair has definitely changed consistency! Much drier and coarser. It's been really scary the last 2 weeks. I'm hoping this won't last long --- does anyone know if there's anything in particular we can do to help ourselves?
