My Surgery is just Hours away!!!!!!

Well my surgery is just 10 1/2 hours away. I can't believe what a chicken a grown man can be. I have had a few surgerys and never was this nervous.

You will be fine. Just remember if you are uncomfortable the first couple of days be sure and use the pain meds. They are there for a reason and actually you will speed the process up of feeling better. I had my surgery 3 weeks ago and everyday gets better. Since I have been home, I've tried to walk. Even at first for just 10 minutes and I would do this also in my home. This seem to help me. You will be glad and afterwards think this was so worth it. Good Luck and I'll say a prayer for you.

James, Dont worry, i'm sure you will be glad you did it in day or two. I am just one day behind you, however, i'm not nervious just anxious. I'm going to bed now and will pray for you. Judy

Best wishes, James! I'm sure it will go well. I'm one week out from my surgery. Very honestly, the incisions have never bothered me. Maybe some tugging here and there as they begin to heal, but that part has been okay. I'm going through insomnia now. I don't sleep very well and when I do it's for short periods of time. Hopefully, you won't have that, but please just relax and be thankful your day has come! I'll be thinking of you. Linda
