Sept 26 Surgery date

Finally a surgery date...and i'm very nervous!!

We'll share that special date! I am having RNY that morning in Nashville with Dr. David Dyer. Hope all is going well for you and your surgery will be a complete success with no unpleasant surprises. I'm nervous too, but looking forward to starting a new chapter in what I hope to be a happier, healthier life.

I hadn't been nervous at all up until about a couple hours ago. I'm having Lapband on the 26th, so I'm a tad bit nervous. I'm from Indy, and I'm the first surgery of that day at St. Francis. Surgery is at 8a.m. Please all reading keep me in your prayers! Thanks, Tanika

Tannika, Have No Fear! I will be praying for you and I know my God is able and can have control of every move the surgeon makes. I am 5/1/2 yrs. post, 117lbs now. wt loss 126lbs. I am 63yrs old( surprise, surprise). My BMI now is 21.3. My GBS was done for so many health complications from Diabetes( Insulins dependent 5 Injections perday)Open Heart surgery,(5 Heart grafts) Need I go on and on!!! I had open RNY and I have had Hernia Repair 3'x and had tummy tuck when I had the first Hernia surgery. I would do all of it over again, if it was necessary! I felt it was important that I give you this information to allow you to see that there is a wonderful, healthy life for you as you take this miraculous Journey.I know, you will be soo happy!
