September 6 my date is finally almost here

I have waited for this for about 10 years. Never really thought it would come true! Now here I am sipping jello and water as I am on clear liquids pre-op now. I'm really doing this, somebody pinch me and tell me I'm not dreaming.

Well, you're not dreaming. Go git-r-done and I'll follow you on Friday and git-r-done as well. Just like old Red said in The Shawshank Redemption, we gotta get busy dying, or get busy living, it's our choice. I can't believe that my five year journey ends in about 60 hours. Holy crap. Congrats to all of you !!!! I am coming up on 2 weeks post-op tomorrow . I had the Lap Sleeve and if there was once peace of advice I could give to you is WALK, WALK, WALK,WALK AND WHEN YOU ARE DONE WALK MORE. I felt better walking than I did sitting or lying down. Believe me! It is the only way I could get rid of the gas pain in my chest or even get comfortable. Best wishes to all of you.
