freakin out -
Breathe deep and be assured that you are in the good hands of very experienced people and in the thoughts of many people who have gone through or will be going through the same. Keep yourself as busy as you can and seek out the success stories. There is bound to be natural nervousness or worry, but if you feel it's uncontrollable, you may want to contact someone from your medical team ASAP.
Find the inner strength you used to make this decision and hang on tight
I wish you a speedy recovery ~ KimmyG
I understand my surgery is Sept 13,07. I am scared and nerous and then I get happy. I am spending some time making a list and researching on what i need to get this week(vitamins and liquids and food i will need to for the next fews weeks). Helps takes my mind off of things for a minute or so. and plus being on obesity help site. I am thinking of what excerises i hope i will be able to do. I speak with my doctor on friday. WOW!!! My life is getting ready to change...It is a big step.
I find that praying and looking to love ones to speak with a big help. I hope this helps you.
I will pray for you.
Peace and Love,
Alanis
Well, I'm finnally home after the surgery and everything went fine Thanks to God. I taking my liquid diet and started taking my vitamins. I will start also today my protein drink. Thanks to everyone's prayers and support. I will continue to update on my progress If I ever find that pesky weight scale. Funny isn't it ? when you are gaining weight is everywhere you look but when you are loosing weight you can't find it!!! I'm doing good with my liquids but getting a little bored of chicken broth only. I've been reading thru my paperwork and found out i could eat soft potatoes -so i guess i'm changing the menu a little bit today. Thanks everyone.
