Hey Brenda- I am glad that I am not the only one in a stall at the three month mark! I am right there with u! I have lost 69 pounds total so far, YYeeaahh for me!!

I did stall at 3 months. For about 3 weeks I played with the same 5 lbs. and it drove me nuts! Things just started moving again and I'm -70 today. Merry Christmas to me!! I have heard that this is normal at around 3 months. Hang in there. You will be losing again soon!!

I had open also and my scar sounds a lot like yours. Mine doesn't hurt if you touch it but sometimes it hurts from the inside if that makes sense.

Hi Laura
I didnt have open surgery, but I did have an open surgery in the past. That left a scar about 5 inches long... It been 18 years and it looks a shade darker than my skin but is not very noticeable unless your looking for it.

I just hit my 3 month mark on 12-19-06 and for 2 weeks before that I didn't lose any weight, as a matter of fact I went up a 1 1/2lbs. Now I'm on the losing side again. Since Tuesday I've lost 2lbs. I think our bodys are so freaked out from losing so much weight so quick that it has to stop for a while and then move on. I've lost a total of 60lbs, so far!!!!!

I have heard of a lot of people stalling around 3 months. I haven't lost anything in about a week, but that has been pretty typical for me all along. I have begun to kick it up a notch at the gym and I am trying to increase my fluids.

Well I seem to have stoped losing, and was just wondering if this is a normal time to get stuck for a while.. How about any of you....

I have a question for those of you who had open roux-en-y. What does your scar look like today? Mind is still pretty red looking and now it is bumpy like when you touch it. Just wondering if its normal. It can still hurt once in awhile too. Any imput would be great. Thanks and Happy Holidays!!!
