Hi. I'm scheduled for 9/19. I'm so ready to be done with this part because it's the fear of pain that's killing me. My last daughter's birth was the WORST pain I've ever felt, so I'm not looking forward to feeling like a bu**** me when I wake up, but whatever will be, will be. I'm most looking forward to dressing young again, to feeling confident and pretty AND to NOT huff and puff up a flight of stairs. I have no comorbidities nor any knee aches and pains, but I can't breathe when I walk and I'm just too sedentary, so I can't wait for that to change. I am definitely taking a jar of vaseline for my lips....I love it. Comfy PJs, change of undies, IPOD and a good book. To all, good luck and God Bless!

I will be at Sinai Hospital with Dr Alex Gandsas. His program has been disignated as a Center of Excellence so I have confidence in him. The nutritionist assures me that if I follow the plan she gave me I should lose enough weight.I'm having a hard time giving up my sweets, but I intend to give it a fresh start this weekend by doing some walking also.Have you finished all your pre-op stuff?

I understand about the struggling part..I have mannaged to loose weight ~im now at 187 and hoping to lose 10 more before surgery from the total liquid part. who is doing your surgery?

Hi Renee Sorry that you are so nervous. Try to keep focusing on all the positive things that will happen AFTER surgery. I keep reading all the good stuff happening to others and I find it encouraging. Do you have friend/family support?

Hi All I'm new to this. I have been reading some really encouraging messages. I need all the support I can get. I'm extremely excited about losing weight...all of you know how painful it is to be obese! Just trying to lose weight before the big day. Anybody else with Dr. Gandsas?

Hi there.............I'm scheduled for the 13th. I'm in the baltimore area. Right now I'm struggling with trying to lose some weight before surgery.Otherwise, I'm sooooo excited....can't wait to be on the "losing side"!!!!!!!!!
