I am scheduled for Sept 5th as well. YAY for us gals! I can't wait to be a new me with a new life. Congrats on you all for making it this far too!

Hi Jill, my doctor told me that I have to lose 10 lbs before my surgery date, which is Sept. 1st. The last time I was in to see him was Aug. 17th. I have been doing clear liquids and eating a boneless, skinless chicken breast at lunch that I cook on the George Foreman grill the night before. At dinner I stick to beef or chicken broth. Did the doctor tell you that you had to do the protein drinks? I was just wondering because I have been doing the Sugar Free Carnation Instant breakfast with Fat Free milk for breakfast, sugar free jello for a snack, the chicken for lunch, jello for an afternoon snack and then broth for dinner as well as getting water in too. After about the 3rd day I stopped being hungry. As of last Friday I had already lost 15 lbs. in a week and a day. Keep up the good work. Believe me it gets easier. Karen

I'm 09/05 as well. Looks like we have a good group having surgery that day. Congrats to us all.

I finally got a date Sept 8th I am so excited and nervous! I feel like I have a hundred things running threw my mind!

Congrats on your September date. Mine is September 14th. And just by chance I am a Virgo too. My birthday is September 4th and this is the best birthday gift for me ever. A chance at a new life!!
