Topic: Surgery date scheduled!
As of 8/28/06 I officially have a date. September 8th. I am so excited! I have pre-op labs on September 5th. Congrats to everyone who got a date!
Topic: An update on my surgery date.
I guess you could say that I got so excited about the insurance approval, that I got ahead of the game on my dates. I got my paperwork filled out with Pam on August 17th, had my pre-op tests done on the 28th and my surgery date is September 28th. Dr. Narciso will be my surgeon. This next month can't go by fast enough, if you know what I mean.

I do not have a pre-op diet, just no food after midnight the night before surgery. At my surgeon's office, a BMI > 50 requires the liver shrinking diet for a week. Each surgeon has their own requirements.

I know exactly what you are talking about! My house will be so clean by the 8th. When I get nervous I clean and sence I can't eat! (I'm on liquids until my date UGG!) I stay on this web sight all the time! And I do the same thing about looking at people with the same weight and stuff! I feel like I should be doing something up until now it's been do this do that app after app! Then I got a date and there like ok see ya then! I feel like going give me something to do I'm gonna go nuts! Well see I also ramble when I'm nervous(can't tell huh!

i am scheduled for sept 13th does everyone have to go on a pre op diet? i have my next appointment tomarrow
