Topic: Surgery on the 12th - NERVOUS!
Boy, am I nervous! I can't believe I start the liquid diet tomorrow. Surgery is only 11 days away. Is anyone else out there scared and totally freaked out by doing this? My emotions range from excited to scared to death, and I find myself questioning my decision to do this. But yet, I know there are consequences for not doing it, too. I am so worried, I have even broke out in a total stress rash...any ideas on how to stay calm during the next 11 days? I am trying hard to concentrate on the positives, but it is getting difficult to do that. I've got to stay focused, but man, I am nervous.

Amen to that! The girls are taking me out for my last pre-op "Hor-rah"....I think I will be having me a margarita 
and doing some line dancing! 
Let everyone get one last look at the big girl out there on the dance floor! 
I will be 1/2 the woman I used to be when I go back there! 
At first I thought it was the "last night out" syndrome. Actually it's more like, celebrating the fact that all of the hoops have been jumped through... 
All of the paperwork is completed 
and I am finally ready for the ride of a lifetime. 
By the way, just some encouraging news to me...my girlfriend had the surgery in January 2006...she just called me yesterday to tell me she fit into a size 4 pair of pants...yeah, you saw right, SIZE 4!!!! 
Before I would be all jealous, now I'm just all excited! From a 28 just 8 short months ago. So, the possibilities are ENDLESS everyone. Yeah us!!!!!!!

I sent you and e-mail with my pre-op diet. I have lost 16 pounds in two weeks and I have surgery scheduled for 3 weeks. 9-22-06. Good luck, I hope it helps!!

My prayers are with you, post as soon as you can! I'm shortly after you, next Thursday 9/7, starting my liquid diet this morning. Butterflys are here already...

I just had to share with you my excitement of over finally geting a surgery date of Sept. 20th (my 40th birthday). I am so excited right now...
