So happy that you are home and doing well - and happy! I, too, was adamantly against the surgery, then changed my mind over time. Now I will have the surgery on Sept 20th - only 10 more days!!! It is nice to hear how things went for you. I am alittle nervous about the whole thing, but excited to begin my new life. Please keep updating on your progress. Good luck you LOSER!!!

Jennifer, how exciting for you. You must be really nervous, but I am sure all will go well. I am having surgery on Sept. 20th!! I am doing my countdown, 10 more days. I will pray for you. Please update when you get home and are feeling better.

Tomorrow I am having surgery, I have been on my liquid diet for the last two days, I am excited but just really curious about what the future brings,, Pray for me and wish me luck.

I am on day three of a three day clear liquid diet!!!!!! It was ok the first two days because I worked long hours those days. I just have to get through today and I will be fine.Thank god no bowel prep here either.

Yep tomorrows the BIG day for me too 
I have been on a three day clear liquid diet. So today is lots of house cleaning,Hubby out in the yard, off to Walmart for things for the house this week. and then to birthday party at MCDONALDS!!!!!!!!!! No french fries for me no no no!!! I hope all of us tomorrow have a smoooooth day.

No bowel prep. Just nothing to eat after midnight. They did say no big meals on the day before, so that we have time for our stomach to empty out.

I'm 46, surgery is the 12th also. I am also more excited than nervous. I am so ready for this..I have always been MO, never known what it's like to buy clothes from a normal store.
what's funny is we got fried rice last night and the fortune cookie I got said...soon I would be one of the excellant people (hoping that means excellant health)..and the back of the paper where it teaches you a word..my word was September....how fitting is that?
