praying for ya!

Sheryl, I so know what you are feeling. I have been on a 3 day clear liquids only. Today wasnt as hard but the first 2 days what a emotional rollercoaster. Can't run to food for comfort I was mad sad questiond what I was doing all of it. Today I am much calmer.

Congrats on tomorrow and best wishes for a smooth surgery and speedy recovery! I am sure it will go great!!!!! I had my surgery on 9/5 and was blessed enough to have an excellant experience. My only suggestions are to WALK WALK WALK because it helps with everything, from the lungs, to the gas buildup, to the constipation, and to use your spirometer OFTEN!!!!!!!! I had none of those problems and truly believe it was from walking a lot and working my spirometer! I was also on very little pain meds, and stopped them after 36 hours, helping my body to start healing sooner. I know I am very blessed to have such a great experience, but I know we are all Blessed, so I will keep you in my prayers and wish you many Blessings! :angel: Let us know your progress on the Losing side!!!!!!!!!!

well basically one more day of liquids and voila long awaited surgery day is here... getting nervous for some reason...and am still STARVING...lol... anyone willing to say an extra prayer for me will be much appreciated. my name is leah, surg is at 745 am....
