I seem to be doing ok with hot and cold liquids. Popsicles are great and I can't believe I forgot about them until going over my literature again. In the beginning however, I did leave cold water out to room temp and cooled my soups until just about room temp just in case.

Hi folks, guess it is just hitting me... my life is about to change in less than 2 weeks. I have appointments scheduled for pre-admission testing and also with my surgeon and with his patient advisor. So much to do and think about. Feeling a tad overwhelmed. Any advice from those of you who've been there on what I should ask my doc about? Any coping tips? Stuff you wish you would have thought of BEFORE the surgery? Wishing you all well on you journeys!

Wow, i'm doing a "shrink the liver" diet with a protein shake for breakfast, lunch and a lean cuisine for dinner. Clear liquids the day before surgery AND bowel prep. But I don't mind because I want to start out CLEAN! LOL! 18th!
