I am scheduled for 9/21, I am nervous & excited. I cant wait to be on the losing side with all of you. Please pray for me to have an uneventful & sucessful surgery. Thanks to everyone for their support & priceless advice.

Topic: Newbie with date anxiety! Help!!!
I am new to this site and I have been approved by my insurance comapny, I recieved the approval letter today, and on it it shows dates that I am approved for the hospital visit. This may sound stupid but is this date set in stone? The reason I ask is bc the date is 09/29/06 and I would LOVE for that to be the case but I am afraid my surgeon has not confirmed this. i think I am worring for nothing but I see alot of folks with dates that are 30 days or more and was concerned that my "wait" would be extended even more. I guess you'd call me nervous, and impatient but I wanna know! My doctors nurse said she will call me tomorrow but I wanna know now lol.

Having so crazy cravins been cravin pinto beans even the 7 layer bean dip crazy I no never like this stuff before ..Is this naturl I dont no? And does having you tube takeing out hurt going tomorrow

It is very true everyone is very different, my fourth day , I didnt stop the pain meds, the surgical gas was killing me and it wasnt moving it took me a few more days to get relief. plus i had a fever so i felt terrible , my husband drove me over two hours to get back home. If you are hurting that is what the doctor gave you pain meds for. However you will get better and stronger each day, just take it one day at a time.

Hi everyone. The post below was sent to our board too, but I was really disappointed when it turned out to be an advertisement. So I decided to come over & wish all you September babies the best of luck with your weight loss surgeries.
I am so thankful to have been given this wonderful tool & I only regret not having done this sooner.
Don't forget to take your vitamins! Now would be a good time to start getting into the habit.

My surgery is Sept 26th. One day I am so excited then the next worried then back and forth. Stay busy is what I am trying to do !!!

I don't know. It must be just me, but I seem to have less energy than before my surgery. I used to tear up the elliptical and now I walk forever, but am slow as christmas. I feel weak a lot. But I guess once I can start back to my regular work out regimen, I will have more energy. I know the surgery is better in the long run, but I'm used to walking faster than all my friends, and now I'm struggling to keep up. Its highly embarrasing!!!...LOL

i wish you luck tomarrow i am 5 days post op and i am active as heck i am still a little sore but i am losing(i think) i dont have a scale cause i dont want to play that game daily to myself. I go to the doctor on weds. so we will seee whats up. But i will light a candle for you at church today and say a prayer everything will be fine
