I bought a wrap dress this week to celebrate my 75-pound milepost. It's amazing to be able to buy clothes that hug my body and not feel self-conscious. I always hid in monochromatic, conservative "tents" and now I'm having fun with colorful patterns and tailored styles that reveal my emerging curves.
Jamie, you've come so far already! It may take a little longer, but you'll get there.
I'm sure you'll feel the difference big time this summer. The Texas heat won't be so oppressive with the weight you've lost so far. I grew up just outside of Houston and graduated from Texas A&M before I moved to New York and escaped the heat. I've got a trip booked for June - my first return visit in 10 years. I think hot and sticky will actually feel good now. Without the extra insulation, I really feel the cold.

Hi Cassie!
I was just reading thru the Sept 06 forum [haven't been here in awhile] and saw that you are a Former Student too!! What year??
I graduated in 1976 [would you believe child prodigy NOT ]
I want you to know that the weather is in the 70's right now and 100+ pounds ago I would've been sweating already....and I'm not!!
Congrats to all of us September 06 re-births!!!!

Hi Terry,
I'm Class of '89. Gig'em Ags! Congratulations on your weight loss. When I lived in Texas, I always wondered how the cute little skinny chics managed to keep their make-up looking good all day long even in the summer. Now I know.
I'm so looking forward to the Texas trip to see family and friends. I'm taking my boys to the Schlitterbahn Waterpark, knowing that I'll be able to keep up with them and not feel out of place in my swimsuit.
