3 month check-up
I had my 3 month check-up yesterday and I'm down 63lbs. My blood pressure is low though. I was wondering why I was getting lightheaded and kinda of blacking out when I got up. I need to get more water in!!!! Before surgery I was borderline hypertension and that was on bp meds so maybe its a good thing. I haven't taken those meds since the surgery. How are other people doing at 3 monthes????

Hi!
I just had my three month check in on Friday, I am down 54 lbs since surgery and 80 lbs in total. I am no longer on my diabetes meds. BP was always normal. Cholesterol was always normal. I was also measured at the gym. Since Oct 6th, I have lost 34.50 inches, and 24.99 body fat pounds. My surgeon says that he couldn't ask for better results!

I have my 3 month follow up this Friday. As of this morning I am down 59 pounds. I also crossed my legs for the first time on Sunday. I didn't even realize I had done it at first. I had my 3 month blood work done a few weeks ago and at that point my insulin had dropped from 125 last spring to 21 in early November. My cholesterol had dropped to 171 from 217 in mid August. All my other blood work was perfect.
Laura,
My 3 month checkup will be 12/18... I'm having the same issues with standing up feeling light headed and once in a while seeing stars when I stand (especially after I get out of the hot tub at the gym). So I'll bet low blood pressure is my issue too (I never had cholesterol or BP issues before).... We'll see. I'm down 75lbs since 2 weeks prior to surgery, feeling great.
Congrats to you on the weight loss, keep up the good work!

Not to sound like a copycat - but I'm closing in on 3 months as well - and I was on a mild bp med prior to surgery. Haven't checked my pressure, my check-up isn't for another couple of weeks.
Down 49.5 since surgery, 76 total since my "high" point last July.
How is everyone "feeling"? I can't believe the enormous difference it's made in my energy - I've been able to walk around doing holiday shopping for hours at a time - haven't done that in a couple of years!!
