I am getting so sick of eggs and sausage. My doc won't let me have any carbs besides fruits and veggies so oatmeal is out of the question. Please give me some suggestions. BTW I still can't stand cottage cheese. I at too much of it right after surgery.

I actually don't eat breakfast... I am so thirsty in the morning that I just want to drink.

I have carnation instant breakfast (the sugar free chocolate) with one cup of skim milk, one splenda packet and one scoop of my protein powder (unjury vanilla) in the blender with 8 ice cubes. YUM! It has 32 grams of protein all together and fills me up until lunch. I've had that every day since I was about 2 weeks post op.

Upon rising, have a protein shake ASAP to get your metabolism moving. Then...... hard boiled egg and slice of turkey bacon OR turkey sausage OR canadian bacon OR turkey pepperoni...... Cottage cheese is GROSS to me.

Unjury chocolate shake with 8 oz milk and about 3-4 oz. cold brewed coffee Then later morning, maybe a Dannon Carb Control yogurt, or 1 egg omelet with cheese. I tried a hardboiled egg but got this week. Don't think I'll have eggs again for a while.
