What do you eat?
Hi,
I am almost 7 weeks out and have been ok'd by my doctor to eat "normal" food. I just don't know what to eat. I want to eat healthy stuff, but I am so sick of the same old things I have been eating. I was just wondering what everyone else is eating. Maybe I will get some idea's for different foods. Thank you so much for you replies!!

i eat lunchables...lol the ham and swiss has 20 grams of protien in it...
and cottage cheese,baked potato,shreaded wheat cereal,part of banana, at times i get the 4 pc chix nuggets and eat on them for awhile,
i dont eat much meat yet ..im kinda scared cause 2 weeks ago i tried diff meat and they didnt agree with me...
I munch on Kashi Go lean cereal in the mornings, its 13g protein per cup. I can't eat a whole cup but u know what I mean. Also, I do a lot of chili. Got a recipe for taco meatballs with a cubed cheddar cheese inside, which should be good...
I also do lunch meat cheese rollups, shrimp sauteed, and last night i had spaghetti made with spaghetti squash!! It was sooo yummy and no carbs. I didn't miss the noodles at all. Just remember to get your protein in. Baked fish is good; tilapia is very high in protein. Be creative. Google some WLS recipes and get excited about cooking again. Build good habits...i fell into a trap with tortilla chips......i'm rehabbing now
