LapBand anyone???

Hi, everyone. I had LapBand surgery on 8-15-06. I got my first fill two weeks ago. I got no results or restiction from it. I have been white knuckling this weight loss from the very beginning. I have managed to lose weight but this last week I have been going right back to old habits. Eating too much. I live 350 miles away from my surgeon so getting ther for fills is quite difficult. I will be going there again on 10-19 but I'm scared I will have put on a bunch of weight by then. Geez, I am just struggling and could use some good news from someone. I'm glad I found this messag:e board. I will read it everday for support. Thanks to all of you and good luck on the journey!

Hi! I just wanted to say welcome! I cannot tell you anything, since I did not have the lapband. I do know there are sites other than obesityhelp dedicated to lapband patients. Im sure people on the lapband message board can point you in the right direction. Best to you! Ill pray for you!

thanks for your response. I will "google" LapBand and see if I can find a site, specific to that procedure. I was reading your profile, sounds like you are doing great. Even with the challenges, I know WLS was the right thing for me to do. It will change peoples lives for sure. It's nice to have support from others. I will stay in touch, hope you do the same.
