Period????

I'm 4 weeks post-op and when I had my surgery I was "on". I just started today and it's sooo bad. I have a backache and felt sick to my stomach all day, I could barely eat. My periods were never an issue before. Has anyone else had their first cycle after surgery and have it make them feel crummy too??? Rachel

I had mine 15 days before surgery then after surgery it triggered it again early! i usually last only 4 days but this one lasted 7 so rest assured it is normal for the changes in your body to mess with it but hopefully the next one will be normal! Jamie

I got mine the day after surgery and it was incredibly heavy. I figured it was because of the blood thinner shots they were giving me. I got it exacty 4 weeks later (this Tuesday) and again it is heavy and lots of cramps. I went off my BCP's 7 weeks before surgery and they had always kept it very light and cramp free. I am considering going back on them. Hether

I had my period while I was having surgery too. I was really worried because I wasn't starting but having sick cramps and backaches. I started on Sunday and I have continued with horrible cramps and my flow is heavy heavy heavy. I bled through my pants, my sheets and I haven't done that since I was a teenager. YUCK!!! I hate my period. I hope all of them aren't like this.
