I will be three weeks post-op tomorrow and I have lost 30 lbs since the morning of my surgery (Sept. 5th)!!!!! That is not counting the fluid gain and loss after hospital release. I was so in shock that I had to weight myself 3 times!!!!! I left the scale and went back twice! haha! I am so glad to know this surgery does help me!!! I was so afraid I would be one of the people who "screw it up". Now I just have to keep it up!

Isn't it amazing????!!!! CONGRATS! I'm having a "shock" moment today myself - I'm 8 days post op, and it appears (if my home scale is correct) that I'm down 14 pounds from my surgery prep weight (not including the fluid gain and loss, as you said). I'm already out of the 400's.....something I've struggled with for literally about a year. Keep it up! The loss is quite a motivator, isn't it?

8-) Congrats!! I feel the same way. I'm almost 2 weeks post op and I've lost 21 lbs. I can't believe it's actually happening. I just knew I'd screw it up!

Great JOB!!! I think all of us have made the best choice for our health. I had surgery on the same day as you and have lost 35 lbs!! I too thought I went through all of that pain and suffering and wasn't going to lose anything. Keep it up!!! I know you can!

I had mine a week after you (the 12th) and the first week and a half I lost 17 pounds. Nothing this past week and I feel like I'm going to screw it up. I don't know why, but I do.

I'm like a lot of you guys. I have lost about 25 pounds and feel like I'm going to mess it up soon. Like, this is too good to be true feeling. Hope we can all keep it up but I keep telling myself this is going to come to a screaching hault when I go on solids. Good luck to everyone as we move into the next stage of our eating.
