I am finally "Approved" - Surgery date YES !!

Hello everyone , I'm a newcomer on the board , I just started doing my profile. But I had to just tell yall I'm approved and my surgery date is September 18th . I am so excitied ! :clap: Bye for now , Robbin :party:

Hi Robbin, Welcome. I'm also having surgery laproscopic Rny on 9/18/2006. I'm also pretty excited yet nervous. I see you work in the medical field. I've been a registered nurse for the last 17 years. I hope you surgery is uneventful. We can hopefully share stories post-op. Take care I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Beth

Hi Beth, I am so happy you replied back to me. Yes, we don't have too many more days and we will be losers. :clap: I am so excited, my whole family and friends are excited for me too. I'm not nervous yet, but I will get nervous soon. I go for my pre-op on Wed. 9-13 . Yes, I would love to share post-op stories . I'm still working on my profile. I'm letting my daughters help me . I did get my pictures on their . I am going to start stocking my cabinets and getting everything ready for when I come home from the hosp. . The nutrition eval. dietition gave me a list: Stock Your Kitchen... to better prepare myself and my family for the new diet changes . I just want to have everything ready and my family understands everything before my surgery. Yes, I am a dialysis technician and preceptor. I reckon I will retire from dialysis , it's my second life.
