Nesting

My surgery is 13 days away and I have a sudden urge to "nest". I haven't felt this way since my last pregnancy at about 7 months. I feel like if I don't get the house in order, and even crazy things like windows washed, etc., that I'll never get to it again. Anyone else having crazy nesting urges??

We are so on the same wave length. LOL I havent been so nervous about the surgery but everything else is driving me crazy. Getting the laundry all done house scrubbed down bills in order and paied. Its alldriving me CRAZY.

Isn't it crazy? I'm not going to be bed bound for pete's sake. But I have this strange urge to get everything spotless - as if DH, 2 kids and a puppy will keep it clean for more than 5 minutes! Guess it's just nerves...

My surgery is on the 14th and BOY have I had the same problem. I have tried to get everyone in the household to be ready..........AND FOR WHAT!!!!! I am coming home. AND I have done the craziest things, bathed the dog, washed the curtains, and cleaned out the icebox! NOW my dogs are famous for going more than a few weeks with dusty paws, my curtains NEVER look white, and EVERYONE knows that you don't open my icebox!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT.........................I can't help it. Nesting IS what it is called and I am glad you pointed it out. I have been wondering around doing this all the while thinking that maybe its my subconscience telling me I won't make it through surgery and so some things need to be done beforehand. Ok_ I am doing the same thing. I was also wondering if I am having some sort of preminition or something. But it sounds as if it is quite common. I guess all the cleaning isn't so bad after all. I have 10 more days to go.
