I am just saying hello, I have visited this board on occasion, but I don't get a lot of hello's. I will be having surgery in September, the exact date won't be given to me until the 29th of Aug, the reality of the surgery being a bit closer is starting to really sink in. I am excited, and look forward to being SO much healthier. I hope to make some friends that can relate and help me if I get stuck along the way. God Bless Sharmie

hello, i too am having surgery in Sept... the 12th. now that it is starting to get closer i am getting excited and nervous. my pre op apt is the 29th. good luck to you. if you want email me any time i am not always on this thing.

Hi Sharmie!!!! I have my surgery on the 7th and I am excited as well. Having friends is a wonderful thing, exspecially ones that know what you are going through. Congrats on your date!!! Let me know if you need someone to chat with! Thanks! Debbie

Hi Sharmie Just saying hi back to you. My surgery is 2 weeks from today - Sept. 6th. I am very excited (yet nervous). It's wonderful to be able to "talk" to others who understand how we are feeling on these message boards. Good Luck to you. Let us know when you get a date. Juliee

Hey Sharmie My date is 9/13....and sometimes it just doesn't seem real to me. I can hardly believe that in a few weeks, I'll be doing something so wonderful that will have such a positive influence on my life!!! I have only recently started posting here and I have read some really great things and some people seem to have formed online friendships.
