HELP!! Feeling alone

I am going to have surgery in mid to end September, I feel it's so close yet so far away. I don't know what to do to kinda keep busy enough not to think about how far away it feels and how near I want it to be... God Bless Sharmie

Hi Sharmie I totally know how you feel. I got my date today - September 20th I feel like the time is going to go by so slow. But in reality I know time flies!! I am going to try to stay busy and get things done in the house that haven't been done in awhile. Kind of like a spring cleaning. I guess we can always come on line here and read people profiles and questions and answers. It is nice to have a board for September dates so we can talk and get to know each other. We will be having the same problems/experiences at the same time. As time goes by we will get more and more people with Sept. as their surgery date.

Thanks for the reply, I am excited and I can only tell my husband that so many times before he says "I know already!" I am looking forward to the actual date, "before the end of September" makes me feel like it's not real yet. Plus it's kind of depressing to get on here and noone really talks to ya. I have ALL my pre-surgery appointments set up, the last appt is Sept 19th so I guess I'll have surgery sometime between the 20th-30th LOL I wish you well God Bless Sharmie

BTW that kid in the picture with you is SO cute!

That cute little guy is my grandson! His name is Jayden he is 2 1/2 yrs. old, I also have a 5 month old grandson named Isaiah. I also like that pic because for some reason it makes my face look thinner than it really is !!!

I have 4 kids Reuben 11 Matthew 6 Joshua 2 Sarah 1 And they wear me out, Mattew just began reading books unassisted, and he wants me to listen ALL DAY! Then Josh wants to smack on him because he wants us to listen to him make up words and tear pages, I have a small village/zoo

im kinda feeling the same way..my surgery date is Sept.13th unlucky for some but for me a new way of life woohoooo good luck with yours!

Congrats on your date, I am feeling NO love on this board, so I just don't even check it anymore.... I know thats sad but there's no real support from what I have experienced, I post and post, but end up feeling left out, I wish you luck on here....
