Sept 12 is the big day

anyone ever on this board? i am hoping to be supportive and find support from some people who are having surgery around the same time! I am nervous but excited. it seems like a long wait still, but i know it will be here soon.

Hi Tweety! This board is pretty quiet now, but I bet it will pick up as September gets closer. My surgery is Sept. 6th and the time has been flying by since I got my date about a month ago. Heather

Hello Heather!! My name is Rich and and I'm excited I just found out today that my surgery is also on Sept 6th. This will give both of us a new chance at life, to actually live life instead of watching it go by from the couch. Good luck

Hi Tweety - I just got my date today - I imagine you'll see more people joining our ranks pretty soon as July comes to a close. I feel the same way as you do - seems like it's a long ways out, but looking at what I've gotten done in the past 7 months of work-ups, it'll go by fast.
