Hi Pre Ops!

Hi all, I am writing because I was looking for people who were pre op to talk with. I don't have a date and am envious that you all have one. I am guessing if thing go well I will actually get the surgery in late October or November. I am where you all are I had a pysch consult, got my upper gi, and am in my 3 of 6 section with the dietation. I am very anxious to have the surgery. But I know I have a lot of work to do mentally before I actually get it, in order to be successful and keep the weight off. But with summer here, boy I wish I could get rid of some weight. For a while, I was busy house hunting and going through the whole mortgage process to really focus on it, but now that it is winding down, we move next week. Yah! but now all I find myself doing is reading the message board and wishing I was post op, but since Im not I have searched for people who I could relate to and talk to and find out if anyone else are having simular feeling.

Hi Erica Just wanted to let you know that you are doing what most of of who are wishing to have the surgery are doing on a daily basis. I started my WLS journey Nov /05 and still have not gotten an approval first time around denied, just resubmitted the appeal to Aetna POS II, trying to stay postive and prayed up with reassurance that I will get approved this time, I will let everyone on the message board know. So keep the faith keep and continue to visit the site, it has help me on this journey.I 'll be talking to you soon. Take care. PS: I started reading this site from day one and still visit on daily basis it normal from the anticipation of changing your life.
