Topic: Beautiful Day
Lets get that walk in. Im Getting myself back together again. I have made my mind up to keep Shane as a boyfriend and get rid of Dale. So Shane is 35 and Im 14 years older than him. And he is so sweet and so cute. I know that is a big age differnce. But my ex husband was 38 so i Have always liked younger men it keeps me young. He does everything for me. Mows the grass. handyman stuff. And he keeps me home and out of bars. He will not tolorate that. So I think for now he is my best choice. While im working on my own personal demons.
I hope all of you are doing great. I have surgery tomorrow to get a cyst taken off my ovaries i will be down for one month but can walk. No sex darnet for 1 month.
I will survive
By all
Hugs

Tanya,
I guess I can only reitterate what everyone else has said. The best thing that anyone can do for the children in your community is give the children a real shoulder to cry on and listen to.
I know that I was told when I was younger that if someone talks about committing suicide chances are that they will not do it. During a college class I was told that this is completely opposite of the truth - we need to let our children know that it is very serious if someone/friend is talking about taking their own life they need to let an adult know. And our children need to know that we will listen and not judge them for what they tell us.
I wish your family well and your community. I will keep you in my prayers and hope that you can all pull through this hard time.
My God be with you,
Christine

I have actually done better this year than last year. I ate way too much last year. I also have young children- 13, 11, and 4 so there is losts of candy in my house. Peeps are my favorite and we have actually had them inthe house all year, now that they have them for every holiday, so it wasn't such a big deal. I did eat a couple of chocolate covered marshmallows, but that was about it.

Surgery Type: RNY
Starting Weight/Present/ Goal: 281/145/155
Age at time of surgery: 32
Greatest Change since Surgery: The amount of energy that I have and the amount of confidence that I have in the way I look.
Mains source of protein: lunch meat and cheese
Water a day?- Usually none Now I need a chair
Clothing then and now: 26 and 2xl shirts/ 6 and small shirts
Biggest Challenge: having the determination to do what I am supposed to do ( which I obviously haven't been doing)
I would do this surgery again in a minute and I sould suggest that anyone who was as miserable and fat as I was also do it!

Paula,
I have to agree with you that I still need support. I don't log on as often as I used to, but I am slipping back into bad habits. It's pretty scary. I keep thinking I will get off my butt once the weather gets better- but there is none of that in sight.
I hope everything is going ok with your moving. When is the moving date?

How very tragic, it makes me want to go home and hug my boys. I haven't been posting lately - lurking around. Tanya I will say a prayer not only for you and your boys but for the whole community. I too can't help but think about what gets left behind. When we lost my nephew last year it left such and impression on my boys, they still have trouble dealing with it. All I can do is allow then to talk it through. It comes up at the oddest times, and when it does I always try to make time to talk to them about it.
good luck and my prayers are with you.
