Topic: What have I been missing?
I started taking Ambien on Sunday night and I can not believe the difference. For those of you who don't know I have been taking Vicadin to sleep at night for about 2 years now. Besides a set back that I had last night with waking up at 2 in the morning, I haven't felt this good since I first started losing weight and exercising. I can get up at 6 and get things done around the house, I actually have energy. I am worried about being addicted to the Ambien but right now I am so happy with the results I will deal with that when it comes. Christine

You poor girl- and your husband must feel awful. I feel so bad for you at least any other part of your body you hurt you can rest, but how do you rest your butt? Hope you feel better real soon! Christine

Paula, Your house is BEAUTIFUL! Must be very hard to give up. Hopefully things will work out, that is an awful long commute. Christine

OMG Heidi - I am so sorry that I am laughing (not at you, at the situation!) and I feel so bad for you - I can only imagine the pain you're in (actually I would prefer not to imagine it) I don't even have a broken butt and I am constantly in pain now (at least I don't think it's broken) - I can't sit for more than 20 mins at a time without my butt hurting me - I was actually thinking about it the other night as I was sitting on the couch and trying to shift my body around so that it would stop hurting...it NEVER did this before... I really hope that you feel better soon - tell hubby to be gentle next time he kicks you in the butt! hugsssssss.... Linda

Oh beleive me, it does hurt. I got the donut pillow. And the doctor gave me darvocets. they help but also make me a little sick in my stomach. that sounds painfull, the whole rubber glove thing.. but she told me it's not lined up right so maybe something like that would help....she said it would still heal even though it was out of wack... oh well.....yes i am the butt of the joke

I can understand your embarrassment but I agree with Kelly, he probably meant it in a good way. Trying to accentuate (sp?) how great you look now. It's kind of like when someone is saying how a friend of mine looks so good and I say "yeah and she's got five kids" I say that because not only is she hot **** but she looks that awesome after having FIVE kids....that let's people know she's really the bomb. You see what I'm saying? I'm sure he meant it in a positive way.

So much for fooling around!!! I've had tailbone problems for years and I know the pain. I've actually had a doctor put on a rubber glove and go up the butt to pull it and straighten it out (I know, too much info!)...but it helped.. I have to sit on a cushion/pad when I have my hair done or take a plane trip cause it acts up. I feel your pain...believe me...and there's nothing you can do except maybe sit on a ho****er bottle, buy the donut pillow and make sure you use it. Take Tylenol.. Hang in there....know that you're the butt of the joke! HAHA Paula

Topic: RE: I bought a bike & my weekend activities.
Paula, Thanks!! I was looking at a bike this weekend and didn't buy it but your post was a great reminder that yes, I can ride a bike (I run 4 miles a day surely I can ride a bike?) Anyway, I am going to go to the store and get the bike and a helmet and start riding it. I live in Germany currently and the weather has been unusually nice and it would be nice to go for a nice bike ride on the weekends or after work!! You are an inspiration. Best of luck with the house and moving thing. I hate to move: So much work. I am lucky the the US govt moved me here and I did nothing!! Take care, jacqueline
