This surgery has changed my life totally, and my husband's life, too (he also had it). We're new people and have such a different outlook on life. I'm not sure what would have happened had I not had the surgery. Probably dead before 45 (I'll be 44 in Oct) or disabled from a bad stroke. Thank God for RNY! Paula

Still around. Just lurking here and there. Been keeping real busy. House projects, shooting classes, motorcycle riding, RV trips, Vacations, oh and to fill the cracks I have been working as well. I am staying right at the 200lb mark +/- 5. This is my acceptable weight. I am preparing to take some martial arts classes. Health wise I am doing wonderful.

Where would you be right now if you didnt have this surgery? Me having my heart problems. I was truly at the end of my life. I couldnt walk 6 foot without feeling faint and wanting to pass put. Couldbt sleep at night because i couldnt breath because there wasnt enough oxygen pumping to my heart. So I do have to say. I do not think I would be alive. I do not think my heart would have lasted much longer. It was only at 31 percent now its at 51 percent. So thats a big difference in alsmost 2 years. I hope it will kepp getting better. I feel so young and full of so much energy. Also I think I would be way over 300 pounds if not for the surgery. I was gaining rapidy because i coulnnt do anything Hugs to each and all of you. and we all have a birthday comming up. 2 years hard to imagine. We should all make our day very specail. Im thinking about a very romantic diner date in a beautiful dress. I will see. Hugs to you all Barb

*laugh* Too funny. I bought mine at age 40, too......just a few days before my 41st birthday. It's a midnight black Buell Blast - one cylinder, 500cc. Buell is the sport line for Harley, but I still sit upright like a cruiser. I love it. --BT

Hi BT what kind of bike did you get? I have a suzuki that I ride when I go with my DH. For work I take his bike a yamaha 1100 vstar- it is a much bigger bike and since I am on the highway for most of my ride it is much more comfortable. I love to ride, when I turned 40 it was a present to myself. DH had never ridden, so I told him either he could jump on the back or learn to ride beside me. good luck d
