Paula, thanks so much! I thought the same about you looking so much younger when you posted your current pic...you need to update yours, too!!!
I have only had a panniculectomy (tummy tuck and over 20lbs of skin removed)...I will be having a breast lift and reduction sometime in September, I hope...my parents are on a trip and wanted me to wait until they returned so they could help w/ the kiddos.
I love being able to look at my belly in the mirror and not be totally disgusted by it! It is also fun to try on clothes and them to fit correctly (except for shirts and dresses, I'm still having to fit my 34LL boobs...it is a pain!)
You have been a great support and inspiration for me! Thanks!

Hi Em,
WOW, what a change,. You look at least 15-20 years younger!
I love the pix of you sideways in black at the front door going to the opera or theater...your boobs are waist level! Can you believe it? You've come a LONG way baby! Now a model, even! You go girl!!
What plastics have you had?

Can I join the party ? I never did reach my "goal" I really didn't have one....maybe I thought of trying for under 200 but I never did reach that. I started out highest 334 consultation and I got as low as 212 ( for 2 days) and have stayed at around 220-225 for the past few weeks. I haven't weighed this since I was in my 20's ( which was over 30 years ago) I went to my support group tonight and the coordinator said that some people's bodies decide what weight it wants to be. Guess mine likes this number.. She did suggest if I wanted to try to lose a little more is to try two low carb breakfast drinks and a "sensible" meal . I may try that and see if it kick starts something. I have to admit that my exercise regimine is about nil. I do walk , but not as much as I would like.
So ,,,,,what are we going to do ? Maybe try to set some kind of goals ? Maybe by Halloween I will try to get under the 210 mark ( and stay there)
What about you ?
Sandy

Nice pix. I love taking pictures , especially my grandson. I love the shots where they aren't expecting anything. I like the "natural" poses.
Good Luck on your "business"

tanya u look great!! my weight has been the same since may. i started at 288 and did get down to 134 but only for a minute. i now fluctuate between 136-139 which is fine with me as long as i don't go over 139.
no plastics for me unless i win the lottery -lol. my stomach and arms don't bother me much but my boobs are empty sacks of hanging skin (pretty huh). the worst for me is my thighs, ugg they are sooo bad, but that's where i carried my weight. all in all any of it is still better than weighing 288 again!!!

I hear you about the pouch test--although it is only the first 2 days on liquids. That is not unlike my post op diet. I do have to say I stepped on the scale this morning and was 174, which is 3.5 pounds less than yesterday. That seems an amazing change...but my body will fluctuate a couple of pounds day to day... Liquids only was tough. I'm doing soft food today--nice to be eating again.
