Topic: RE: What damage am I doing?
hey Donna,
I'm sorry to hear you hurt. Have you talked to your doctor about this? I was on oxy condon briefly after surgery that is supposed to be ok for pain. I don't think it is a heavy duty drug, but probably not much more so than vicodin. I honestly can't remember if I'm allowed to take vicidin or not. But I was at my surgeon's office a week or so ago and asked about anti-infamitories because of my upcoming hiking trip. The doc gave me a perscription for something called arthrotec, which is supposed to be pouch safe.....my guess is this isn't strong enough for you right now...but maybe there is somethng else.

omg Donna - after driving 3 1/2 hours to find my nieces school we were starving!! It was 9:30 at night and there was NOTHING open - I couldn't believe that a city like Boston would just shut down like that on a Saturday night - the sidewalks were empty and everything was closed up tight...I was shocked. I don't get into Manhattan very often (we are actually going in on Sunday to see Mary Poppins on Broadway ) altho I wish I did...I love the city...it gives such a feeling of life.
Have a great weekend!!

Hello all
Hope all are doing well as we celebrate a year! I love my new life! I have lost more than 50% of my body weight. From a starting weight of 215 down to 95 lbs. From a size 26/28 to a 4. From no energy to bouncing. Though it has not been without complications, I would do it again in a heart beat! Would you? Why or why not? Now if only I could get my plastics scheduled (I am on the waiting list at least).

WARNING *** to anyone reading this **** ONCE YOU CONVERT YOU CANT CONVERT BACK***
The best option, if you are not ready is to do it slowly. You dont have to convert your profile, you can go to My OH and then click on My Accounts, it will have a link for your NEW & OLD profiles... the only difference, is that everyone else cant see your NEW profile if you DONT convert... Until I like the NEW one.. I am going to do it like this...
By the way.. The MY STORY is not a place you want to put your WHOLE old profile as it has limited space. It needs to go in the MY BLOG part.. these parts can be edited and names what you want, and the BLOG can be BACK-dated.. wither put all of them on one old date... or my months, or individual days...
To get pretty backgrounds you can do a right click of your mouseon your OLD profile and save it on your computer, then when you start working on your NEW profile, you can put it in the " CHANGE THE LOOK & FEEL " section..... it takes time... VERY consuming if you are not used to it, but you can change the color of the fonts, size etc.......
GOOD LUCK everyone!

FYI ****** You can work on your new profile little by little and add friends WITHOUT changing profiles... I do it... I am creating my NEW profile , but YOU GUYS cant see it, cause I havent converted it yet.. but I can.... I figure this way.. I have BOTH worlds until they decide we cant have the old ones anymore... they do say one day we will all have to change... LOL!!!!!!

Hi Barb, you are so sweet to say that. Trust me if you could see me this very minute you would think I was dying. I look terrible, and the sad thing is I have no ambition to even do anything, like makeup!!

I don't know what kind of damage you may do but if you need them then you need them.
I give you credit because they say that the knee surgery is the most painful. So I feel for you.
Maybe if you take the pill with milk it will help the pouch? I guess you'd have to ask the pharmasist(sp) if it could be taken with milk or yogurt.
good luck.

Ya, I was away this weekend and got a good look in the mirror. I still an not totally sure of how I look but am slowly coming to a realization that I am not a dog. Like you posted else where, I am not used to be "sexy" per say.

I had the pleasure of working in Manhattan for the summer a few years ago. I loved it. I would fly in on Monday am for my first meeting at Sotheby's. End up at the hotel until Friday then fly home. You could go any where and getting around was a piece of cake. Plus the city is open all night. When I worked downtown Boston the restaurants would close early- in New York we didn't head out until 9:00-10:00 pm.

Hi Paula, as usual you come through with excellent advice. I think I will do some tylenol during the day and save the vicodin for night.. Thanks again cutie!!
